Can any early American antique specialist identify the name of this item?

Looking for the name of this item.
I searched Ebay, and Google images using: wooden dough roller, and came up with zero results.

I believe it to be some sort of kitchen item.

I think it's a pie crust roller. They often had patterns in them.
