Hello Experts,

Is there any way to have Exchange automatically send out a welcome message when adding a new user to an Exchange 2010 distribution group?

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, the post refers to adding a new mailbox....I want to add a welcome message to a users existing inbox when the moderator adds them to the group.

Unfortunately there is no such feature in exchange. You'll either have to find a third party software package or write a script that exports the users in a list, compares it to a previous export and sends an email to the new users. No easy task me thinks
