Add character to colum of numbers in Excel 2007

I have a column of numbers in Excel 2007.
I need to add " before and after every number. Eg change 123456 to "123456"

There are several hundred numbers to add this too.

copy down. Then copy the result and Paste Special > Values over the original data.
