Disabled attribute and android web browser

I have a problem with the android browser and disabled dom elements. Buttons marked disabled in my css are not disabled on android devices. However, they operate as intended on ie7-9, firefox, chrome, etc. basically a disabled button on an html form can be clicked in the android browser. Has anyone encountered this problem and is there a fix? I am using disabled: disabled in my css. I have also tried disabled="disabled" in the actual html.

Thanks

Hello,

There is no such think as a disabled:disabled css property. There is a html property like this: <input type="button" value="" disabled>

However, this will not work in android. You can set the click property to false though http://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/View.html#attr_android%3aclickable
