Typically its a difference in Java versions than that of the one supported by your version of asdm or a config change not allowing connections via web. Take a look at both.

i have tried on 3 machines
with java 6 update 16,java 6 update 26, java 6 update 27

same problem

i have added HTTP X.X:X:X 255.255.255.255 outside, so i should not be a security thing
