I'm using Windows 7(x64), Office 2010 Pre(x86), Internet Explorer 9.0, 7zip 9.22(x64). The OS had upgrade all patches. Office works fine.
When I right click a file and select "Compress and mail to" from the context menu, it display a dialog with below message:
"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request, ...."
In fact, The error message display when I send e-mail from any third-party program in Outlook, but it works fine with explorer "send to", "mail to receptions".
I search the web, and found some URLs:
I follow the instructions, but no help. I already set outlook 2010 as the default mail client from the control panel, the issue still exists.
It seems the 64 bit program can't call 32bit outlook, http://msdn.microsoft.com/zh-cn/library/dd941355(office.14).aspx
I uninstall 7zip(x64) and install 7zip(x86), but, the 7zip menu item disappear from windows explorer context menu, so I had to reinstall 7zip(x64) again.
