2nd inverter failed in 2 months

What else could cause 2 inverters on a laptop monitor to fail within 2 months?

Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro P300-28L

Nomally, the replacement of the inverter corrects the laptop monitor problem and no futher action required.
However, since you have replace two inverters within 2 months, we can only assume one of the following:
- defective second inverter
- LCD screen and/or backlight are drawing too much power
- some other cause like a dropped unit

I don't see any indication that these units are more likely to have inverter problems.  Inverters are inexpensive but the LCDs are costly.  Perhaps sending to a repair centre that offers warrenty on the inverter and tests everything (assuming you changed the inverter yourself last time).

Ok, will replace the inverter again.
Should it happen again, will try the backlight.

The user is likely to have dropped it (Yes.. one of those types of users!)
