How to backup VirtualBox folder in users Library on Lion iMac up to Time Machine?

It seems that Time Machine doesn´t backup users library folder and virtualbox.org program uses that folder. When I try to open user/library folder I can´t even see that folder anywhere in finder. Time machine also doesn´t show that folder. I want an easy way to restore my virtual machine if something happens to my iMac. Snow Leopard did backup Library folder but Lion did not anymore.

I suspect Time Machine is in fact backing it up, but the Library Folder in Lion is now a hidden folder so you can't see it - see:  http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13727_7-20082044-263/os-x-lion-where-did-my-library-go/
