I have created a database and user X can login with no problems. When i attempt to login with user Y it wont allow me. Is there a setting in 2008 SQl to add or allow a user to access the database? I found way to create login for 2005 but 2008 might have different setings.
First you have to create the login by expanding server node > Security and right click on Logins > New Login and give it a password or windows authentication. AFter that ou have to set up the user mapping.
