Xen Desktop Quick Deploy Problem

I'm tyring to use Quick Deploy to setup Xen Desktop 5 (using SCVMM & Hyper-V), and every time Quick Deploy completes I get the error message: "The snapshot state is invalid.  Check that the VM has a hard disk attached."  However, the VM does have a hard drive attached (It's a fixed disk and its size is correctly reported in Quick Deploy).

What am I doing wrong here?

Anything in any of the logs?

I'd start by looking at the event logs on the Citrix server.

Can you deploy the image via MCS without trying quick deploy? Have you confirmed it will start ok?

Here basically is what I was getting in the event logs:

Inner exception :       Citrix.HypervisorCommunicationsLibrary.InvalidVMStateException: Consolidate disk failed as system is in use
   at Citrix.PoolManagement.VMManager.VmmImplementation.MicrosoftScvmmProvider.MicrosoftVMManager.ConsolidateDiskFromVmSnapshot(String name, InventoryItem item, String storageId, Action`1 reportPercentComplete)
   at Citrix.PoolManagement.VMManager.VmmImplementation.MicrosoftScvmmProvider.SCVMMHypervisor.<>c__DisplayClass11.<BeginCreateConsolidatedDiskFromSnapshot>b__10(MicrosoftVMManager manager)
   at Citrix.HypervisorCommunicationsLibrary.TaskRunItem`2.Run(T manager)
   at HypervisorsCommon.HCL.TaskRunner`1.Run()

This lead me to turn off the master VM, and that corrected the problem.
