Indexing and search problem with outlook 2007 and windows 7 pro search results are not complete and not the same every time I search

I have transferred one windows 7 PC to another windows 7 with clean installation.

 used file transfer tools provided by windows 7 to copy all the data including mail box from the old box and

everything looks good. but I have problem with new machine outlook search.

search results are not complete and not the same every time.

What I did:
- index rebuild from index manager it say index complete with 7888 items but outlook shows 37889 items remaind for indexing
- changed index settings
- scanned/repaired all outlook pst files ( about 15 to 20 files 15GB in total)
- rebuild index again

is there any solution for this problem?

Make sure you have set the Windows 7 Search folders properly. Check the two settings windows here:

You should see more files than you have shown, so maybe you have not selected all the locations.

I found the files path in outlook and it is selected

I checked the email path and outlook in indexing and I add the pst file extension to that  too

In the screenshot directly above, have you selected the entire hard drive (OS (C:))?  I would select only the Documents folder, but I I don't see that on the left side of the screenshot above.

I didn't chose the my documents to avoid indexing 500gig video and mp3 files to make troubleshooting faster.

outlook files are in the appdata folder and i select that folder, but could this make problem for indexing.
as i see you exclude appdata from users.

I include my whole Users folder and then Outlook on top of that. Since Outlook is in Users, that seems like duplication, but Windows 7 did set it up this way. ... Thinkpads_User

none of this worked

we wasted 6 hours troubleshooting this garbage

we bought x1 for $60 and the client is happy
