I installed SBS2008 (got a server/OS bundle deal) for a small Dental office recently and would like to set up the system so the girls in the front office all send as the same email account. That way, when one of them is not there, the staff who is there can still repond to the emails that flow into the shared email inbox.
I have done this before by setting up one AD account and all users connecting to it as the users primary email box. I have also set up a mail enabled public folder and gave users "Send As" rights to it. With this method, users need to change the "From" information every time they send an email address to reflect the public folder email address.
Can some of you give me some suggestions on the easiest and best way to handle this email setup scenario? Ideally, I would like each user to have a seperate account but the "From" address would always be the public folder address. Thanks!
