When I am in OUTLOOK 2007 and accidently scroll down over a unread email, I do not want it to change to read status...I want it to remain bold

We use OUTLOOK 2007 with our EXCHANGE 2007 and whenver I move the mouse over a bold "unread" email it changes it to normal font which indicates it has been read. I want all emails to remain as "unread" until I actually click them and open them. Is there a setting that will allow this? I have found myself and others miss new emails simply because we accidently scroll over them when moving the cursor bar up and down.

You should go to options->e-mail options->reading pane.

You'll find the options to  and to don't mark messages as read.

on my OUTLOOK 2007 it was OPTIONS/OTHER/READING PANE, but you got me looking in the right direction and the key was to find "READING PANE" so I am giving you all the points...thanks a million!!
