Outlook OFT file Template.  How do I configure Outlook to use this as my default New Message or New Appointment?

I have an OFT file I would like to use as my default template for new messages and another for new calendar appointments.  How do I configure Outlook to use the template by default?

I'm not seeing how to specify an .oft template file as default stationery.  I saved the .oft as an html file(s) and saved to C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Stationery.  Now the stationery is available and I can specify it to be the default for new messages.
