IE9 Win7 Page can not be displayed errors

have a problem with a website I have been using for approx. 2 years with no problems in the past.

New Variables:

Windows 7, 64 bit
Internet Explorer 9, 64 bit

Old System:

Windows XP Prefessional SP3, 32 bit
Internet Explorer 8

Website = weblink.carquest.com

I keep getting a failure page that says "Internet Explorer can not display page. Check internet connetion.".

This error only occurs after an order is completed on this site and it is supposed to return a confirmation page but instead gives this error page. I can as well continue to invoke additional transactions by hittting the back Key  without having to check connectivity and the order completes. I can go into the ordering history and find my completed order with a confirmation number posted.  I maintain an IP address with no connection interruptions reflected in my packet sniffers and connection monitoring software.

I have an HP computer Window XP, IE8 that is on the same network and no issues occur like this at the comfirmation step of the ordering procedure.

Found the issue. Java runtime update 27 did not fully install. Internet Explorer was reflecting the plugin as Enabled but infact it was not working. I found this by going to a site www.bestcrosswords.com and was unable to play a crossword puzzle. I declined an installation from the site.  Uninstalled update 22 and Update 27. Reinstalled Java from www.java.com. All is well. Lesson:  Do not install from third party web sites due to old or wrong installation files.
