When attempting to recover archived items from our EV on our XenApps servers we get a EV vault error "there was an error loading this file." .  To get this far I copied outlvbs.dll to c:\Program files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\ and added reg keys [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Components\821B099E87A7C0C4D924CC21E8E02D00]
"00004109210000000000000000F01FEC"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Microsoft Office\\Office14\\OUTLVBS.DLL"
We dont get a script error but the archived item in the vault still does not open.
Works fine in Windows 7 SP1, Office 2010, 7.5 EV client for Outlook installed.

From memory it is not supported on EV 7.5 but if it works good for you.  Support for Outlook 2010 was started in EV 8 with EV9 add-ins.  Outlook 2010 is not supported by default until EV 9.0

You are going to have issues.. I would ensure that you have the http outlook add-in vs the dcom client see if that works, otherwise it's been hit or miss.

Got it working.  There needed to be an exception in out Proxy Server for the EV Server.  In the outlook Client turned on only required connectors.  ON Vault, Exchange, VBA support Off Social, Business, Onenote, Sharepoint.  Works fine.
