How to change Pause For Duration less than one minute in WSS Sharepoint workflow?

I want to use a "Pause for Duration"  type action but I only need to wait about 5 seconds between two delete list item actions in same workflow task. Second delete action will fail if no delay.

Any idea how to do that by SPD ?
I dont konw how to coding in VS Studio.

what about doing  a work around after first delete set a field value then wait for field change in current item  use value u set after first delete then second delete
