Adding a profile to the Kinect sensor?

Hi guys. Got my Kinect sensor last week. I already had the xbox and xbox live so I'm using the Kinect just fine but I can't seem to add my friends.

Do I need to create an xbox live profile for them before they can play the Kinect? Wouldn't that mean having to pay a subscription for them - seems wrong to me. Any help here much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Jason

Most games allow for "guest" users, meaning your fiends could play the Kinect without creating Live accounts.

If you want your friends to be able to create Xbox Avatars, when you need to create local accounts on your Xbox. This does not require a subscription.

Hi, sorry for getting back so late. To create local accounts, is there a guide somewhere that you are aware of?

Log out of your active account. You should see a menu option to create a new account. Use the new accounts to create new Avatars.
