Hi
My company and i are looking to solve a soltuon for Analysi of change work IN powerPivot using DAx langauge
we think this might be achieved using EARLIER function- Looked on google and samples are very technical - ie copied from MS technet
would like working sample and /or help with same,

So can you provide examples of what you are trying to accomplish?  Please provide and explanation of the problem, and if possible, post a file.

Hi there
see attached
If you see calculated columns in Table 1 in POWER PIVOT youll see the Example and parent columns
currently EXAMPLE calc FILTER refers to "node1" (as text)
but id like that filter to  use associated parent - like a Sumif criteria that refers to a dynamic cell reference rather than "node1" text

appreciate any thoughts
