Hello experts!

I am writing a database for a hotel.

Using WebMatrix with MS SQL express.

I need to store information about reservations.

What is the best practice to do it please?

Begin with seriously gathering requirements.  I expect you will soon discover the tail wagging you is more like that of an elephant than a mouse.  Even the sample data model offered above is vastly over simplified for a workable reservation system.  For example, it does not contain phone numbers or email addresses, it does not have a to show which rooms are booked, or,  for that matter, even book a specific number of beds or bed sizes.  And so forth....
