How do I get released mail from barracuda to go to Exchange users accounts

I recently logged into our barracuda spam firewall to release some deferred mail to recipients.
I selected the messages and selected DELIVER.
Neither of the recipients have received the mail.

Both users have three accounts of mail, all three show up properly in Outlook 2010.
I can send test messages from my gmail account and exchange mail back and forth , other external email is routing in fine as well. I am not sure why the barracuda mail I select to deliver will not go to the mailboxes for each respective user/ domain. we are running server 2008 R2 with exchange 2010.

Just a few questions to get things rolling...

Are you finding the messages by reviewing the mail queue or are you looking at the message logs?

If the issue that caused the messages to be deferred is still occurring, then the messages will continue to be deferred.  Check in the message detail - Why were the messages deferred?

Sending server was timing out.
