Avoid creating two events for the same time and day in outlook 2003

I have couple of users that are constantly creating events on their own calendar, however they want outlook to warn them that there is already an event for that time and date. Is there a setting in outlook that will do that, or and add-in that we can get?

The issue can only be resovled by User Training and Increasing User Awareness.

As a user booking appointments directly in their calendar will see that they already have an appointment there, there is no better Notification than Visually seeing that appointment.

If they continue to book an appointment during a time in which one already exists, when the new appointment is open Outlook has a notification above the subject and location stating that their appointment conflicts with another appointment.

If the users still book a conflicting appointment after both of the Indicators are ignored..........

Its really their own fault, and no amount of extra notification is really going to help them
