We have a HP printer attached to the printer port on the AE.  Reading other posts it says we need to create a new printer exclusive to the network.  I am in print and fax -->  Add printer using the + sign.  It now asks for the following that I need help with:

Protocol
Address
Queue
Name
Location
Print Using

Please tell me how to get the printer setup so we can print wirelessly to it.  WE have two Macs one 10.6 and the other 10.5

Thanks,

Randal

It should just show up in the Print & Fax box after you hit the + sign and then the General Tab.

Do you know if in fact the AE is connecting to your network? Have you set it up properly using the Airport Utility on your Mac?

Also, do you know if the particular HP Printer supports Macs? If it does not have a Mac driver, you may be out of luck.

What model HP is it?

Everything is great,  Instead of General tab it is "default", once I hit the tab it found it and it is working great now.  The printer is the HP C3180.

Thanks for your help.
