MalwareBytes Program freezing computer at startup

Recently deployed malwarebytes (enterprise) version to our computers.  Now when users sign into their machines, it will lock up or freeze after loading the desktop and/or take up to 5-10 mins to respond.  I have followed the troubleshooting steps offered by malwarebytes to exclude those files from my antivirus software (TrendMicro Office Scan version 10.0) as detailed in the following pdf attachment.

If you think that the issue is related to MalwareBytes, did you try uninstalling it and then reboot to check?

Does that resolved the issue?

Have you Delaying the start up of Malware Bytes until windows is fully loaded?
Also which OS areyou running I assumed XP is this carrect?

I confirmed it was malwarebytes as I uninstalled the program and the issues went away.  I also delayed the startup of malwarebytes but it did not seem to help.

Hi there,

Try booting into safe mode and then run a full scan with Malwarebytes. After the scan is complete, try booting in to normal mode and see if that helps.

I have had a similar problem before and that is how I got it working.

I have not been able to figure out the problem.  I have un-installed malwarebytes until I can get back to this again.  Thank you everyone for all your assistance.
