I have a pc that has WINDOWS XP PRO and using INTERNET EXPLORER 8. When i'm in my GMAIL ACCOUNT and i'm in an email that has been FORWARDED to me, i used to be able to delete JUST CERTAIN TEXT from this email by highlighting it then hitting the DELETE KEY. It doesnt do that anymore. For example, i get an email that has been FORWARDED to me and it has dozens of other email contacts. I want to delete those contacts.Cant do it by highlighting and using delete key anymore.I've run a DISK CLEANUP and DELETED COOKIES, TEMP INTERNET FILES. There was no change. What can i try? Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

If you hit FORWARD or REPLY on the email, that should allow you to delete the contacts. I have never heard of being able to delete stuff directly from the received email without Forwarding or Replying.

Wow.Old age is setting in! Thank you for your response. It was dead on.I forgot i was trying to do this after just receiving and opening the raw email message. After i acted like i was going to REPLY, i could then DELETE anything inside the message.THANKS AGAIN!
