It kind of answers it, it cannot update some files unitl your reboot
reboot then go back and continue it may continue automatically, view update history open that.
Disable the firewall temporarily.
what updates was rejected?
Sync your computer time with the internet time was one solution for your first error
At the taskbar open the time there left clcik it and then change date and time>clcik on internet time
Could be a trusted certificate damaged.
Does it run once you reboot?

Any  windows updates has to follow a sequence,  on any system where a new build  is the facturing point, then as you see you had litterally 100's of updates, so  in order for these to complete correctly and then update the newly installed updates you may have reboot several times.

You know that sucks since it's Vista SP1? SP2?
I would have thought it'd be pretty up to date and not need so many.
