Printing from an Internet site

I can't print from a particular Internet site back to my local printer unless I turn the XP firewall off.  I'm using IE8

Try clicking the compatibility mode button for that website... they may not be "up" with IE8 yet....

Try this if first post doesn't work...
Click Start, point to All Programs, then Accessories, then Communications then Network Connections. (Or you can right click My Network Places on the desktop and choose Properties).
Right-click the Local Area Network or the connection you are using, then click Properties.
Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings.
Click the Exceptions tab.
Click the File and Printer Sharing checkbox.
Click Ok (twice).
