Exchange Full Mailbox

One of my users mailbox was full.  As a result mail was not be delivered and senders were receiving a non deliverable message.  I have increased the mailbox size.  How long until the mail starts flowing again?  I sent a few tests but they are still bouncing back?

was it disabled before you increased the mailbox size?

Run Clean up agent... it should not take long. (3-5minutes)

It was not disabled......it's been 20 minutes and i still receive the below error message when trying to send email to that address:

The message could not be delivered because the recipient's mailbox is full.

I used adsiedit.msc to set the mailbox size to 10GB.

try to Disconnect the Mailbox, Run Cleanup Agent and wait for that mailbox to have "x" then reconnect it back.

Keep running the Cleanup Agent until you see the Red X mark, the reconnect.
