Desktop System Specs
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit
Processor: Intel i5 750 2.66 GHz
Motherboard: Jetway MIH55T-M Intel Socket LGA1156 MATX
Memory: Riverside Networks 4GB DDR3 1333 Mhz
Video Card: GeForce 8300 GS
Power Supply: APEVIA ATX-AS680W-BL 680W

My Google Chrome browser has been crashing recently and I'm not sure whether it's because of the browser or my computer since all I've really been using my machine for lately is web browsing. The last time it crashed it at least managed to display this message:

The instruction at 0x0f7bb9a8 referenced memory at 0x0f7bb9a8. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program.

And the title of the above window was in asian characters. I should also mention that my computer has also completely frozen a couple of times as well to the point where I have to turn it off manually.

I've attached a zip file of the dump from a program I was instructed to use a while back on one of these forums with the filename "Windows_NT6_BSOD_v3.03_jcgriff2_.exe". I took ran this while that window was still active. I've also attached the report from running "perfmon /report".

Also, here are the results of a Hijack This scan:

Launch the chrome in clean boot mode

Clean boot process

Start-type - msconfig- click on startup tab- click disable all...then click services tab- put a check on hide all microsoft services ...and then click disable all....click ok and then restart the computer in normal mode.

If everything works fine in clean boot then enable five startup items and services at a time to find the faulty software.

Perhaps a resource issue, if you always run it this heavily?

How often does it crash? Is it reproducible?

Go to Start>All programs> System tools> System restore
Then select a date when you didn't have the problem and you'll be taken to that time. You won't lose any data but some windows settings (maybe those that caused the problem).
Do this after trying Ded9's solution. That's a good idea too.

@johnb6767, I do tend to run Chrome quite a bit with many windows open. @kpax77, I think it may be too late to do a system restore option since the problem has been going intermittently for some time now.

Is there any reason why the The instruction at 0x0f7bb9a8 referenced memory at 0x0f7bb9a8. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program. window title should be in Asian characters?

Have you done a full scan with MalwareBytes and TDsSKiller?
