How do I decode ws_ftp Pro 12 Password which is in the ws_ftp.ini file of the form:

PWD="_IL14h1zhJt2Jm...

I tried unsuccessfully to use http://lab.artlung.com/ws-ftp-password-decoder/ which did not work. Entering full string (truncated sample above) and clicking Decode produced no results.

I need to give password to new site owner who does not use ws_ftp

You should contact the publisher of WS FTP or, even better, just ask the administrator of the remote site to reset your password.

I imagine that even if someone knows how to crack their pw they probably wouldn't want to post it in a public forum.

Did this, but a lengthy process - have to prove who I say I am.
