Forward emails to distribution group not working

Our old IT directer passed away and we want to forward his emails to us. We are a consulting firm and I created  contacts with our company email. 1@aa, 2@aa and 3@aa.com is our emails. We also created a domain email for us to use in the client site uc@yaa.com. When want anything sent to billy@yaa.com be forwarded to us. I created a distribution list on AD with our 3 contact infos and our domain email. I then proceeded to EMC 2010 to the user billy@yaa.com>went to mail flow settings>delivery options>and under forward to i selected the group.

The problem is that once we send emails to billy@yaa.com we don't receive any emails but if I put my email and anyone of my team members as the forward to we receive it.
