What is the function of Address Space when we create send connector in Exchange 07

It tells for which domains this send connector would use.
Say you have * then it means this send conenctor would be used for all the external domain.
You can have send connector for a particualr domain as well.Say for example you can have send conenctor domain abc.com  with all emails getting sent to a smart host (In most case ISP relay hostname)

OK if I understand well  if I have a connector with address space name: abc.com
and I send 2 email from:
1- ab@domain.net to bc@abc.com
2-  ab@domain.net to df@xy.net

The connector will just route the: ab@domain.net to bc@abc.com
Is that right?
