Using a product called Advanced Installer to install a .NET app. Get this error when testing, "An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {XXXXX}. HRESULT: 0x80131043. The compnonet referred to is one of my .net assemblies. I don' think I can blame the installer product...this is an error that is actually coming from Windows Installer. Any ideas?

Already checked this out, but seems to be related to adding to the GAC, which I am not trying to do.

The mechanism of verification most likely is the same.

Had to set each assembly to use it privately versus registering in the GAC. That seemed to fix me up. I didn't really want to register in the GAC, so that works better for me anyhow.
