I was given an answer where there are fancy graphs but hides the real information

all I want is a log viewer that has colors or columns.

Try Smarterstats, http://www.smartertools.com/smarterstats/web-analytics-seo-software.aspx

They have free version and a lot of reports too.

Having details and graphing are contradict to each other as graph not be able to show all information and details text not so pleased in the eyes. You might want to have a look at http://www.welant.com  (free non commercial) and http://www.deep-software.com (trial) products - they have more details and graphs.

http://www.weblogexpert.com from the previous port also good at represent information.
