Javascript to display URL without menubar

Hi Experts

I know the Javascript to open a window (url) without a menu bar but I want the java script to be included within the url or when the page is opened.

i.e
<script type="text/javascript">
                window.menubar = false;
    </script>
Does anyone know the syntax on how to do this?

Is it browser's menu bar OR your application menu bar?

browsers menu bar

the following JS works but if the window is opened from a command button

window.open("http://www.w3schools.com","_blank","toolbar=yes, location=yes, directories=no, status=no, menubar=yes, scrollbars=yes, resizable=no, copyhistory=yes, width=400, height=400");
}

becuase I am opening the page from (outlook) an html email the page does not support JS, so I need to resize the page and remove menu bars when the actual page opens.
