Are you using the VIrtual Machine defaults that are provided, when you've created thr Machine through the Wizard?

What Storage Controller has been configured in the VM properties, you can check by selecting Edit Settings

I had the same problem some time ago with Windows Hyper-V Server 2008R2 :)
The problem was... incomplete image download because my proxy disconnected downloading at the end. Image burnt fine and boot also well but I couldn't find any drive :)

Redownload image (and I think) everything would be fine! :]
