Which port needs to be opened for this to work?!

hi guys,

We've got two sites at the moment, one on the 10.0.0.0/24 network and the other is on the 10.45.191.0/24 network. There is a site to site VPN. At the 10.45.191.0 end, there is a lockdown with firewalls so unless ports are opened nothing really gets through.

Servers on both networks are able to ping each other, without any problems.

We've added printers to the server 2008 on the 10.0.0.0/24 network and through group policy we would like that added to the profiles that log on to a server on the  10.45.191.0/24 network. However, it's not happening due to firewall restrictions.

I know ports have to be opened on the 10.45.191.0 end, but which ports? Is it 161? Is it SMB 445?

Thanks
Yashy

Here is a link with the firewall ports.

Did you add the Printer Role? Really only needs File and Printing Ports
