How to use RCA MP3 player?

A neighbor came by and their teen has a small RCA mp3 player, with USB connector, that holds maybe 30 songs. They are asking me how to use it, and help them download.
I have never used one of those things.
Model TH1611A
Capacity?
Type files that will or will not work?

I located the manual but really saw no mention of type files, etc.
I saw someone ask a question about AAC files. What are those?

Any ideas or websites?

Hello nickg5, I believe this is your player, correct?

Capacity 1 Gb - so in MP3 format it will hold about 250 songs.

AAC means Advanced Audio Coding and was designed to be the successor of MP3. Here's a wikipedia reference.

Yes, that is the one they have.

What are my choices when trying to find websites to get this kid a few songs?

There are quite a few legal sites around, you have to do some searching yourself.

The player however comes with RCA EasyRip that can be used to transfer CD music to the player I presume.
