Hi everyone,

I have infopath form and I have a data connection in it connecting to the sharepoint list I am working with.

Now I am trying to read certain column, let say column 'x' in sharepoint list and count the number of instances in that column that contains certain value, let's say 'y' and finally display that count information in infopath form.

How do I do that? I looked around and couldn't find any quick solutions.

Any helps will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Prem

You need to do it in code bwhind. Write a CAML query and select your data.

Alternatively write a web service to get the data back.
