Dropdownlist - image selected item

Hello,
I would like to have a dropdownlist with images. When item is selected on the list I would like the images to be displayed, i.e when the list has closed the selected item is displayed in the field. How can I do this?

I have added an image of a dropdownlist from Outlook. There is an Image in selected item. How can I do this?
