APC Advanced Setup Features 3000 XLM Smart-UPS

Hello Experts,

     I have a customer who has a rack of servers with two APC Smart-UPS 3000 XLM backup power units.  Currently they just have the servers plugged in and the devices on the network so they can get alerts.  Do these units support any other type of features they can utilize?  They have been having a lot of power outages recently in the area.  Not sure if these support some type of auto shutdown procedure?

If these UPS devices have a network interface, then yes, you can use the APC Powerchute Network shutdown software to perform an automatic shutdown:
