resources needed for good browing laptop
for a laptop to only mainly have good capacity to do fast browsing and streaming of videos, what minimum resources would you recommend for

.. a net-book with an atom cpu is sufficient it is just web browsing not video rendering.. no need for a big hard drive.. depending upon your eyes you may want a larger display but the normal 12" is sufficient and has lots of battery life. I've seen refurbished units for under $200 that you could use all day almost without plugging in. Even a P3 or P4 laptop would be sufficient for browsing but the battery life will be terrible (in comparison).. the oltpc netbooks or the chromium net-book work well for browsing.. for casual browsing I use my android 10" tablet and it works just fine just a little small for my aging eyes.
