how to place check boxes

on the form

we have two check boxes that should align left in the right hand column.  I can get one to align but not both.  How can I do this?  Note that this is a page, so the checkbox code is generated by .net

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The first solution which comes on the mind is to apply clear:left; to element, but unfortunately there is no border where it should stop. I modified html and added some style to it which can be replaced to style-sheet later if needed, so instead of <span> you need to have <div> like this one:
<div style="position: relative;width:500px;float:right;">
<input type="checkbox" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_ContactParticipantByEmail" name="ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$ContactParticipantByEmail">
<label for="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_ContactParticipantByEmail">Participant Email Address</label>
<input type="checkbox" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_ContactAdministrationByEmail" name="ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$ContactAdministrationByEmail" style="clear:left;">
<label for="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_ContactAdministrationByEmail">Administrator Email Address</label>
