How Do I record audio from DVD

I have a Client that has created a DVD and wishes to

pull the audio and burn CD's from it.  Since it's a DVD

My Concern is that it might span CD's

Is there a free sofware that can help me or can I use Itunes.

I need a map of steps to perform this.

Yes, what you need is a DVD Audio Ripper. People usually do this to get Music DVD's and play them on their Ipod. You can search on www.download.com for DVD audio ripper and see a list of results. Here is a site that some some program suggestions and walk thrus. Hope this helps:
