Can I run Virtual PC 2007 VHDs in Windows 2008 R2?

I am retiring a Windows 2003 R2 member server that currrently hosts Virtual PC 2007 and a dozen virtual machines running Windows XP Pro.  The new Server is running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.  Is Virtual PC 2007 and its VHDs compatible with WIN2K8 R2?  If not, what do the Experts recommend?  The problem is that I have to complete this project today, Sunday, 10/02/2011.

Yes. You have to add the Hiper-V role and add the .vhd as virtual machines

I would also recommend uninstalling any VM add-on tools installed on the virtual machines themselves.  You SHOULD be able to do it... but to be safe, don't MOVE the VHDs, COPY them so you have backups.
