Network usage in individual machines

Hi experts,

I am in a network which is under firewall. There are 20 machines in the network. I need to know the network usage in each machine, at any given point of time in a day. I need to monitor this from an ubuntu machine.

How can I accomplish this? Any help in this regard which would lead me to the correct solution will be well appreciated with points.

Thanks,
Sree

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
