Outlook 2010 stops responding attaching file

I have 3 separate computers (all built from the same image) Windows 7 Professional 64bit SP1 with Office Home and Business 2010 32bit SP1.

When clicking attach in Outlook the application stops responding. The only way out is to end the application which results in asking to send to Microsoft, these are the three files it points to when it crashes.

WER909B.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml WERB2BC.tmp.appcompat.txt WER909B.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
WERB684.tmp.mdmp

This is a known issue in Office 2007/2010

Outlook Stops responding when trying to attach a document because it tries to resolve any Mapped Drives or Shortcuts in My Documents First

Have a look on the PCs and Check to see that there are no mapped drives that are disconnected and or not working

If there are remove them.

Personally, to test I woudl remove all mapped drives from one PC

This also happens if there are any shortcuts that dont work in the My Documents Folder and or Library
Look for these and if you see one, delete it
