HP PhotoSmart C410 Double Sided Printing on Mac works on some Programs but not others?
I have a customer with a Mac. OSX Version 10.6.8, Snow Leopard. Also has a HP Photosmart C410 Printer connected wirelessly through a netgear router.
All works well except a problem with double-sided printing. It seems to work OK on OpenOffice and Adobe Reader but does not work on printing email in Mail or web pages in Safari.
It is printing double-sided on certain programs, just not others. Have checked all the usual settings. Made sure it was on double-sided printing when printing etc. but it just prints one sided on Mail and Safari - including a PDF document within Safari.
The driver was installed from the CD supplied and I haven't tried the latest driver - if it is a newer version - from the internet yet. I intend to try this when I re-visit in a week but wondered if anybody had any further thoughts on the matter.

it sounds something that safari does, the way it handles printing. I assume it will be resolved with a further patch either from apple or hp
