what is the result of netstat -r?

check the netmask for the multicast routes is correct.

Did you try other addresses one close to the old one (like 224.0.0.70) and one beyond the new one (for exemple 230.1.1.1)

can i try and use any addresses within the multicast range?
Blue_-_BearCommented:
Sure
the objective is to test if there is no a restriction based on the address itself or the range.
