HP Procurve 5400 default route change
I am upgrading my firewall in the next few days, with this upgrade I will need to change some routes on my Procurve. I unfortunately do not know much about the switch, it was put in by a consultant and has been working great.
I can do basic stuff, but this just makes me nervous, I need to make sure I know how to do the following any help is appreciated.
- Backup the config (Obvious reason)
- Currently the default route of the switch for I think all vlans is 192.168.45.15, I need to change this to 192.168.45.48.
I also will eventually need to change all the routes from 192.168.45.13 to our new 192.168.45.48 there are a few and one in the ACL which needs to be changed. I just don't want to mess anything up. This is all just internal IP's so I don't have a problem posting the config it is very small. hpconfig.txt
